*** No one has sent me Collin Jensen Mission address! Will someone please call the Jensen and get it for me? I Dont mind if I get it from everyone of from Ann out in Indiana or Amy in Tyland I just cant call them my self. 801-224-0955 that should be the number if I remember it correctly. ***

Christy thanks for the pictures of Dad's Shop. Happy 4th of July! What projects are you doing now at your house?

Dad the shop looks great and I love the look of the cars you are building. They are a little more advanced then the cars I built for my Eagle Project. Do the grand kids and others love em? How is Jeremiah's hand?

Sorry I got to keep this short...I love the South Carolina Mission. Because its the 4 of July our mission president has asked us to email at a members house. I know Jeremiah... It was as bunt as military orders that we are here though. So I am going to keep this short because I feel terrible that I am on a members computer.

I love you all.  Mom I am glad you and the birds are enjoying the garden:) Love you lots.

June has been such a wonderfull month. I am happy to say not only will the Georgia Macon mission in its last month reach its goal but it will superseed it. We have had 95 baptisums so far this mont and we have 26 baptisums schuduled before the end of the month. Elder Angell and I have a young girl who just got her mother to sign her permison slip so she can get baptized on the 30th. We will reach our companionship goal of 5 baptisums in june. Not only that but we have 4 more baptisums scheduled for the begining of july and one who is only wants go get baptized in august.

Christy-fire update- I did not have my full suit on for the fire. Just a shirt and tie. My companion got the shovles from one of the residents when he ran for help.

Jeremiah- well if your room got flooded I am sure you are in mine. Did mom and dad do much to my room yet? like is it storage?

Dad- Along with the information below will you send me some pictures of all the projects from around the house? Everything is going great. I love you.

Mom- The new mission is going to be something very diffrent from what I know as a missionary now. President told me there would be no greater change or chalenge on my mission. But I want you to know I am not woried. I have overcome chalenges before. I specificaly remember President Stevenson saying things about that. I will write more later but I thank you for your prayers. Love you.

Family,

On tusday my companion and i where riding our bikes to go and find a family that was in our futchers. Well we saw a collom of smoke go up...This is so not fair that i never got to do this before my mission...yup it was a forest fire it had just started and no one was around. It was infact burning twards a group of homes. At that point my companinon whent to go help why i started hicking out some flames in some dry lawn grass. It took the fire department 15min to respond we where out in the country. So someone brought us shoves and to defend the homes we started cutting a fire line. My companinon working on a farm most of his life was had fire experiance with buring ditches. So we went to work. By the time the fire department got there we had cut a 3 ft line over 50yrds through pine brush cuting of the fire from the closest homes. The fire department had no better timing when they came because the fire was starting to crown into some pine trees. The batalion chef a member was quite suprised and thankfull to see us when he got there. He said out efforts likely saved some of those homes and made containment much faster. Unlike Utah right now the south is in a drought. With so much vegitation down here it dose not take long for things to dry out.

Other fire's buring...

We had another baptisum this last week Renee Gade was baptised on friday and confermed on Sunday. When she was confermend she wispered to us as we whent to sit back down "I felt it! I felt it! Wow my hands are shaking!" she loved it. She has already invited her coworkers to church.

We should have another baptisum this month. Our mission is at 74 of its goal of 100 for its last month with 50ish companionships. The lord is blessing us so much. Thanks for your prayers.

Dad Happy Fathers day! I hope it was great! I am going to send pictures of the fire! We whent back later after we showerd to see that family and took some.

Jeremiah- where did you get your hand? I am sorry. I got a blister from the fire... lets admit it a cut is worse.

love you all lots.

Family, Isn't it about time...

First off...Elder Robinson I wish I had 4-5 baptisums lined up for the next week and a half. Right now my companion and I are sweating bullets to get some kids in the water but if we get all of them then thats seven baptisums we will have in the next few weeks. I thing we will only be able to get five of them because of parental concent.

Elder Angell and I worked so hard this last week...We OYM'ed(Open your mouth) on avradge of over 50ish people a day. Recived 19 member referals Whoo! Had 11 member present lessons. knocked on who knowes how many doors sunday morning and no one came to church. But then we found out about a nonmember 11 year old boy who is not a member of the church who told us he wants to get the priesthood when he turns 12 this next month. We told him we could arange that and set an opointment.

I have enjoyed this last week so much. It has been wonderfull to live and work around my trainer. Elder Johnson Remineds me of...well Elder Jeremiah Robinson. I cant wait untill they meet each other one day. We might be able to have some joke come about that would rival of surpas all of those Chuck Noris Jokes when that happens...

So I didnt hear any comontary about my shoes. Did anyone like them?

Dad, can you send me some pictures of the new shop and how it is coming?

Mom, be advised I will need to be buying some new socks and some more bike parts. It shouldnt be that much though. Also can you send me some Resipies...Beef Stroginoff...Brocoly Soup...Corn Chowder...That would be wonderfull. I love you. Thanks

Christy, Boy or Girl? My vote...not like it will make any diffrence...Boy!

Ann and Clan...Ejoy Utah. Send Pictures of everyone for me will you.

I love and miss you all. Take care of your selves. I heard the world was going to end last Saturday. I figured if it was they would let us call home again. Darn...
Mom has Alex been baptized yet. If not Elder Robinson will still get him right? Anyone ever thought about talking to the nabors on the corner? Are they intrested in the gospel?

love,

You all have no Idea where I am now do you?

Yup I got transfered... but I am not going to tell you where I am untill the bottom of this email.

My new companion is Elder Angell from Saint Anthony Idaho. Amy you wanted to know if I am still bikeing...Yes I am...Lots. Not as far but where I am has lots of hills, Big Hills. Infact I am going to be buying some more needed bike parts. Which is prity incredible because everywhere else is flat. Oh I Also now live with two other Elders Elder S. Johnson My trainer (he is on his last transfer) and his companion Elder Brinkerhougfh(I dont know if that is spelled right).

So I belive I told you President Bowman called me up monday morning and told me I would be leaving Valdosta and relised as a district leader. He also told me that I was going to an area that didnt have much happening and that he would give me a hard working companion to fix it. Well he did. Elder Angell is very hard working. On Friday Not to bost by any means we contacted over 100 FTC'S(First time contacts) that we invited to learn more about the gosple. Over 60 of them we invited to be baptized. It's so much eazyer to gust get that out there. All the days exept Sunday this last week we contacted over 80 FTC's. Such a turn around from my last area where we would push to talk to 40 people a day and invite 20 of them to be baptised.

So it is aparent that I am in a City. Its Aiken South Carolina. Yup I was as far south as out mission whent and now I am as far north as out mission goes. I have now served in every Zone and been on all sides of the mission. I am what you call the Border Potrol. I keep The Georgia Macon Mission safe from....well. My new address(Dad) is 126G Mossback circle Aiken, SC 29803. now for the Joke to be Valed at the end I have to keep writing and telling you about my area.

Its horse country. Every thing has a horse head or there is a panted hose on the corner of the street. That's down town at least.
the rest of the area is fairly populated and reminds me of... Manti Utah but there are a ton of trees. Infact three words that describe my new area are...Trees...hills...and Old buildings that I want the home owners to take me on tours of when I come back to visit.

We have lots of individuals that we are now working with. On transfers I drove with one of the Assistants who served in this area and he told me to go and get a family he was working with in the water. Or at least the rest of them. So we are now planing a wedding for some of them and making contact with others to get them in the water. Its going to be great.

I love you all, thak care of Dad. Dad feel better.

If you scrolled to the bottom of the email trying to cheat then you will have to go back and read the rest of the email to find out
where I am. :)
love,

Mother's Day!

So here is the plan...
I can call anytime after church on sunday. The problem is I dont know what number to call and I only have 40min to talk. So I will call Mom's cell 372-1025 or the house number at 8pm my time witch should be 6pm your timeish. If I am to call at that time i will have to be done at the end of the 40min because I will have to be reporting numbers to mission leadership right after. Get the phone number I need to call for skipe and call back. They are asking us only to make one call so I would like to be obediant to what they have asked. Its also why I want to see if this confrence call will work out so that I can speak with everyone. If by chance that it dosent and I am only able to speak with mom and dad then we will have to talk at christmas.

Ann- Sorry about your arm. That dosent sound like any fun. I havent seen your package yet but I will be looking for it.

Elder Robinson- lets see if this trend continues we found 17 new investigators this last week. Three families and a many of them are really intrested. The Atlanta Temple was deticated yesterday and the phrophet prayed for the missionaries here. I love promices like that from the prophet. We have made contact with many less active families who are deciding to come back to church. Oh and we got 800 miles again on our car to drive this month! Count your blessings I would walk everywhere if i could but for now i just have a sore bum. We are still hiting over 20-25 miles a day on our bikes.

Dad- Was that information i sent you any help?

Amy And Ann! Happy Birthday! Whoo yall going to be 28! whoo! I still cant beleve that I am 20. I dont feel like it. you probly dont feel like you are going to be 28. What happed to those 15 breaks in elementry school?

Picture. Me entering the mission field you year ago...Almost.
Wow time flyes when you are doing this work. I have been stomping on the breaks ever sence I got here and well. I love this work lets just say that. You fight as hard as you can and the lord will lead you to win the battle. He will not chance or decide for the agencey of others or yourself but he will not alow other to keep you from keeping his comandments. When we see that choices become simple. Hosana! Save now! For He lives!

Everyone just sent me a lot of information.

Hi,

I was not able to email last week because the library was closed. It was not damaged by any storms or any thing they where just having a career day. Dad the storms have been coming throught we have not seen any tornatos but there hasent needed to be any trees have come down on cars trucks and homes all week. By word of mouth I heard the last storm killed 8 people from falling trees.

We have been working very hard in our area this last week. The district has been working hard as well. We had a baptisum this week end and have another baptisum next weekend. James Van Lucas was a brother we meet up by Moody Air Force Bace. He came down from New York to take care of his mother. He is 48 years old and has a heart of gold. We involved a prospective missionary to baptize him and then I confermed him a member of the church on Sunday. He said the feels at so much peace.

Mom I got the package that you a christy sent. I whent ahead and opeded it because i was afraid of any perishible food. Thankyou so much for the new shoes. I will were them at Zone Confrence tomarow. There I have been asked to sing in a special quartet. Should be alot of fun because i will be singing with an old chior member Elder Fletcher. It will be the missions last confrence.

Dad way to go on the calling! Sence out mission has placed an incressed empasis on reactivations we have been studying a few extra things. The talk "And Nothing Shall Ofend Them" by David A Bednar. You should be able to find it on mormon.org. then beyond that we have simply been seeking more of the spirit. That comes through prayer for the individuas you are working with and becoming Doctronaly Grounded. I would say read the Lessons and then Chapter 10 in preach my gospel(how to begin teaching) use all of the points when you go and speek with someone the first time so that you can get a good feel of how they feel about the gospel. Study dilligence and patence in preach my gospel Chapter 6. Remember the only time they are completly lost is when they or you have given up. Share some personal experiances with them about mountain resque. Devote time to them each week. Thats all the advice I have. Love you and enjoy the calling.

Sorry I type slow. I have to run. but I love you all and enjoy all the encorgment and help you give.

Enjoy the pictures.

4-11-11 Spencer's letter

Does time ever slow down?  Within two months several things will be happening:
1.  Jeremiah will be home.  He's is going to be mad at me but I only have one call on Mother's Day.
2.  I will have been out over a year on my mission.
3.  My mission will almost be done in South Georgia and I still have no idea where I am going to finish.
4.  I will no longer be a teenager.
5.  Between now and then, I don't know how many people I will have to tell that the world is not ending in 2012.

Any way some big things are happening to say the least.  We are holding a baptism later this week for Van Lucas, a black man just younger than you Dad.  He like, all of us, has faced some hard times but Ban has chosen to do good in many instances.  Van was once married but later divorced.  I don't know and I haven't wanted to ask about it.  He had one son, though he committed suicide when he was 18.  Van stuck through it all.  Now he has moved down from New York to take care of his mother.  He's back in school and dating a girl ion Florida.  He fixes bikes for children and has a heart of gold.  Actually when I made a comment about a nice tool he had, he insisted that I have it.  He would not let me go until I took it.  It was a Gerber tool just like Dad's.  He takes literally no thought for himself and loves the gospel.

You know how I told you I bought some bike tools to do my own repairs.  They are wonderful.  Missionaries have already asked me about them.  Bike repairs are a huge cost for Elders here with all the biking we do.  The last thing an Elder wants is to spend half the cost on labor.  I decided I like collecting tools and I will have to pay you back for them later.  But know, I will make them worth it.

Have I told you what my mind has been on lately?  It's been on how much freedom we have.  We live in a free country.  We have agency from God and we choose to live the gospel which makes us free.  John 8:31-36 Now we fight to free our brothers and sisters from bondage.  Ephesians 6:12 Thus we are all committed until the conflict is over.

Love you son,
Spencer Robinson

What Did you Do in the back yard with out me?

Family

Mom, the Back yard looks Great! I just feel so bad that I was not there to help. I miss getting really dirty. All I get out here is really sweaty. Tell the lads they better have some projects to do with me when I get home.

Dad, I loved confrence weekend. Loved it. I missed you though. But dont wory sence I couldnt be with you at confrence my companyion and I brought 7 people to church and had two watch it at home. They say 90% of those who watch confrence get baptized. Its going to be a good month. My District brought 26, the zone 56 and the mission 205. There was so much to be gratefull for this last week end. Our joy was full because of the faith of those individuals who chose to come and recieve of those messeges.
Question: How many Robinson's have served missions in your family?

Elder Robinson, Drive carefully.

Family,

This last week has been wonderfull. I got a new companion and am still serving as a district leader. In mission age I am one of the older missionaries in the mission. No buano. My new companion is Elder Martin from the Logan area. We are curantaly teaching a Spanish family, they speak english really well though. The father just cant read english. The Reis family came to one session of  confrence and loved it. Brother Reis said to plan on them every sunday. So we will. They want to be baptized to. I love being a missionary.

Other then that we just do the work alot...we have so many people we are working with Elder Martin and I just dont know what to do. We are always on the move and will probly hit over 30 miles on our bikes each day this week. Its like going to Plesent Grove to teach some lessons and then coming back every day. We are in really good shape.

Valdosta...

Family!

Elder Robinson, Way to go on the baptism's! How far do you have to get your investigators to church? I dont know if I have told you about my last two areas but on average most of the people we work with are over 10-15 miles away with out cars. My area is even larger then that. It covers the equivalant of ~Salt Lake County but its all country. My companyion hates to bike but on a good day we cover 35~40 miles. We have a full time car but my district is the size of Utah and Salt Lake county and the other missionaries like to call me for baptizmal interviews. So all of our miles go twards them.

Story: 6 mounths ago I served in Moultrie GA. There we where teaching a wonderful family that unfortunately where told by ther land lord that they had to move. We lost contact with them at that point. This last Saturday...we are tracking in a trailer park. We knock on a door that opens...we start talking about how we can be clensed from our sins and the door starts closing...we start turning our backs to walk away when "Hey are you from Moultrie?" comes from a 17 year old young man who poped his head out the door. I tell him "Yes, I have lived in Moultrie". As it tured out part of that family was now living with extedded family and we had just found them again. 6 of them came to church on sunday.

Another Story: We try and go see Family's in the ward twice a week to seek referals. Elder Eller was on excanges with me when we went to see the Van Horn Family. He and some of the other Elders in this mission seam to have a bad taste in there mouth towards members. I have been working with members my hole mission and think that there are so much better to work with then beating on doors. Let me give a silent thank you to the Van Horn Family they where perfect. Elder Eller was impressed they where actively trying to help there friends come to church. Then we go to see the Peaterson's, same thing. What the difference was in these family's is that they loved there callings in church so they fulfilled them. They loved the Gospel because they lived it. they loved there nabors so they served them. Love Its the greatest Persuader.
There is no reasion to talk bad of one another. No reasion to point fingers when things dont work out. When corection is nessisary it should come with love and from someone in the position and with athoity to do so. To obay is simply more inportant they any sacrafice. The Savior said if you love me Keep my comandments.

Mom: These are the pictues of my shoes. My companyon says he dosent know why my back is not killing me yet. I figured I should get them fixed soon. Will you check if this is a part of the waranty? I Dont think it is? Let me know. Both pairs of my shoes are like this.

Love you all lots,
Love your home teaching families,
Love the Savior.

My family all over the world

Elder Robinson

Extend your Mission! How could you contemplate such a choice! What an honor! Tell him yes!

Family!

We had a wonder full baptism this last Saturday! The Renfroes where so ready for the gospel (we only meet them 3 weeks ago). After her Conformation and sacrament on Sunday she got up and bore her testimony about the Gospel and cried. I felt like crying to. We are still working on her husband but unfortunately he is terminal and dose not have much time left. He could go any day now and his short term memory loss is not helping the teaching proses. He may just be the second investigator I lose on my mission.

Dad-Did you get the tie? Did you like it or do you want me to send you another one?

Mom-Thank you so much for taking care of my car. I hope it didn't cost you to much. Really if it's getting to expensive for the both of you sell it and have it go towards Jeremiah's extension. I am going to be spending some more money to get my shoes resoled next prepration day. I want to do one pair at a time and it should cost about $30 a-pair. I want you to ask Mr. Mack if there warranty covered just wearing out the soul. I can send pictures of them if you need them.

Amy- talking about the Spirit. off hand I could only say a few references to search. Study the leahona in the Book of Mormon(how we should head promptings from the spirit), Preach my gospel chapter 4(obtaning the spirit), the Holy Ghost in true to the faith(Who the holy ghost is), The long night of Apostasy in finding faith in Christ(how others can still feel the spirit), Doctrine and Covonents section 130 v.s. 20+(the nature of the god head), Moroni 10:3-5(how we receive answers form the Holy Ghost), Alma 32, 2 Nephi 31:3-4; 32:3(how the Holy Ghost speaks to us and what power the angels speak by)
I am not so familiar with my Bible references but I know there are several accounts that speak about it and receiving it by the laying on of hands. Hope that helps. I would probably just talk about a spiritual experience you had with the spirit and then talk about some of the doctrine. Finish then with a powerful testimony that will have investigators that the missionaries bring jumping in to the water. :)
Love you all lots I hope you enjoy the pictures of the baptisum and us driving in our area. Most of the roads are dirt and usaly we are not driving but biking.

Valdosta

Hey,
They moved me again. I have yet to serve with a companyon longer then a transfer on my mission.
I am in Valdosta Georgia with an new companyon named Elder Denny from laton Utah. We serve in the second ward (everything west of the interstate, north and south of valdosta. we dont cover the city it's self). Its his second transfer so I am doing a little followup training with him but he is great other than that he is not a morning person. We actualy had seen eachother before our missions at a swimming meet. I am fairly sure that we raced to.

I am still serving as a District Leader. Oh Pass on this to Elder Hughes. Elder Jones says hi. He is being trained by another missionary in my district Elder Eller.

We where able to find a family that we brought to church yesterday, the Renfroes. Brother Renfroe is unfortuanaly terminal and has been told that he will not live beyond a year. His step son and wife are hopefull and all are looking forward to learning more. After there first lesson, wich was realy spiritual we extednded a baptismal date and they acepted.

Dad- I dont know my new address yet because I have not got any mail yet at my new appartment.

Mom- one of my Walker Ballard just finished his mission. He lives down the street from the temple. He wants to come get our no-bake cookie resipe from you. I wrote it out for him once but he lost it and said he would just see you at the temple. I saw him at transfers before he left. Careful he is addicted to those cookies. :) I will probly just write him and send him the recipe. oh taking about him. Moultrie is in my District where he and I served! I Love That Town! the Ward has had Over 30 baptisums this last year to! They are looking to have a Lot of baptisums here this next month to.

Love you all,

At the Appartment

Hey Family

I wanted to send you all a picture's we took this morning at the apartment. Its as close to a live feed and you will get to see me.
The other Missionaries are My companion Elder Burt, Elder Weathers, Elder Kelley, Elder Bingham and Elder Butters. All of them great missionaries. Some just a little exited about things.

The weeks been okay... we has a sister on for baptism that cant be baptised. It all came out in the baptismal interview. No buano. We are working with some other great individuals right now though so we sould be back on top of things here in the next day or so.

Zone Confrence was this last week. Elder Mahn from the 2nd quarm of the seventy came and spoke to us. He told us we had acopmlished alot to past goals but that it was really insugnificant and the lord still expected more.

I spoke in sacrament meeting this last sunday on daily prayed and scripture study. They must think that missionaries have good habits doing that or something. Well I indirectaly tryed to wake up people to the importance of it by using some of what we call the Fire and Brimstone scriptures that tied back to simply holding to the word of god. It talkes about it in Helaman 3 and in 2 Nephi. Dont wory the Bishup had spoken to me before hand and told me that's what he wanted. So read you scriptues every day and it will keep you from falling in the and endles gulf of misery and wo. That last sentence sums up my talk to.

Mom, can I request a few things if that's not a problem. I cant find good bike patches. nope. And we get flats all the time in this area. The one's i came out with i got in Provo from that Brigham...bike shop. Actualy they where given to me but they where from there and they worked great. I am glad you found my letter. All send another one then. :)

Amy, the church came out with a new pass along card and it made me thing of something you would have come up with.

Christy, tell Leif to push for prohabiton...

I love you all and wish you the best. Know this is the greatest work I could be doing right now. The gospel is true. I am seeing it bles my life and the life of others everyday. Read you scriptures. They testify of Christ.

random questing by the responding emails did any of you try an ramwich?

love ,

Hey Family

Life is great... and a little stresfull at times but you dont know the good with out the bad right?

The District is doing well. I hope some good changes happen during transfers this week. Oh talking about this week a good friend of mine is entering the mission field today!

Hector Eide- that brother i wrote you all about loves to do missionary work. Loves it. He already read all of Preach My Gospel. Actualy he did it in a day. You all sould read it to. Will you all obtain a copy of Preach My Gospell and Read it? By doing so I know the lord will place people in our live that we can share this gospel with. you will be blessed and know what to say when the time is right.

How about my last comitment i left you all. Did you go on to Mormon.org and create a profile? Email me back if you did. If you didn't there is time for repentence still. You can do it and then email me. On Mondays we can go there and I can look up your profile if you do. Win win situation.

love you lots,

Read, and pray.
